Largest FESPA Mexico to date; 30% of exhibitors are international brands, up 10% on 2013

Press release from the issuing company

Nearly four months out from the event, FESPA is adding the final pieces to FESPA Mexico 2014 (21-23 August 2014, Centro Banamex, Mexico City), with the show now 95% contracted and set to be the largest FESPA ever in Mexico.

Across screen, digital and textile, the participation of international supplier brands has increased 10% over last year, with global vendors now making up a third of all exhibitors. Durst is one of the latest international suppliers to commit to the show, joining an exhibitor line-up which includes many of the major global names in digital and screen printing equipment and materials, as well as regional manufacturers and distributors.

One fifth of all exhibitors this year have expanded their stand from 2013, and 15% of exhibitors are new to FESPA Mexico. Visitors are promised the opportunity to meet with the broadest range of exhibitors - and to see the most comprehensive showcase of technology - of any FESPA Mexico show to date. The show will have its strongest line-up of screenprinting manufacturers in its seven-year history, with global manufacturers MHM, M&R, S Roque and Vastex all present.

Exhibition Manager Michael Ryan comments: “FESPA Mexico has become the most important screen and digital printing event in Mexico and Central America, and the commitment from the local and international market grows every year. This event offers an unequalled opportunity for printers in the region to see the latest technology and solutions in action. Sublimation printing and design applications are particularly dynamic, and these growth areas will be clearly reflected in our free seminar programme for Mexico. Through the breadth of show floor exhibits, seminars and other visitor features, we’re doing everything to help Mexican and Central American printers connect with print innovation.”

The FESPA Mexico conference sessions will address applications, processes and business skills, with a mix of topics including, for example, conventional and digital signage, colour management and workflow, marketing and sales, and 3D printing.

The supplier community is actively engaged with FESPA, with MS Printing Solutions working closely with FESPA Mexico 2014 as the show’s Solutions Partner, while leading apparel supplier Gildan deepens its involvement as the event’s Activewear Sponsor. Xaar’s involvement as FESPA’s Global Technology Partner continues.

Favourite features from previous FESPA Mexico events will ensure that visitors to the event find the rich mix of show floor innovation and education that they have come to expect from FESPA since it came to the Mexican market in 2008. Features in 2014 include the Connect Conference; the World Wrap Masters vehicle wrapping competition, sponsored by Avery; and Garment Central for apparel printing and decoration.

The FESPA Mexico Conference and Garment Central will be refreshed for 2014, with new speakers and the widest ever range of presenters, while this year’s World Wrap Masters competition will take on a new format, featuring teams of wrappers rather than individuals.

Visitor registration is open at www.fespamexico.com, and the market’s keen interest in the event is reflected in the highest level of registration, already up 10% on previous years.
