Sign and Graphics Franchise Signs First Eight of 16 Locations to Open in Canada Over the Next Few Years; Exhibits at 2014 CFA’s The Franchise Show to Educate Potential Partners

CARROLLTON, Texas – On the heels of its banner year for sales and growth in 2013, FASTSIGNS, the worldwide franchisor for the more than 545 FASTSIGNS® sign, graphic and visual communications centers in eight countries, will be launching extended expansion efforts in Canada.

As part of the strategy, the franchise will be exhibiting at Booth No. 315 at the Canadian Franchise Association’s The Franchise Show, Feb. 22 and 23 in Toronto. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with FASTSIGNS representatives, to discuss the franchise buying process and learn more about the company’s proven business model, high franchise partner satisfaction rankings, and special financing program for military veterans.

“We’ve spent the past 20 years building successful centers and franchise partner relationships throughout Canada, and with this continued growth strategy we’re looking to expand on this by growing with new franchise partners in select markets,” stated Mark Jameson Executive Vice President of Franchise Support and Development at FASTSIGNS. “Meeting potential partners at The Franchise Show will be a catalyst for these efforts, giving us the opportunity to build new relationships and reconnect with those who have expressed an interested in joining our family.”

In 2013, FASTSIGNS signed 37 new franchise agreements, eight of which were in new territories throughout Canada. In addition, FASTSIGNS opened 30 centers across the world, including several in Canada and Puerto Rico. The company’s expansion plans for 2015 includes signing 45 franchise agreements and opening 40 new centers throughout the United States and Canada.

FASTSIGNS is looking for an entrepreneur of particular excellence in Quebec to lead expansion in the market as its master franchise partner or as an area developer to open new centers. This partner will lead franchise procurement in the market to help FASTSIGNS increase its presence with the addition of 15 new centers. Additionally, the franchisor is looking to add Co-Brand, conversion and new center partners in the following target markets throughout Canada: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, the Greater Toronto area and Saskatchewan.
