Flint Group Flexographic Products division will debut its new FlexoToolbox™ App for iPhone and Android devices.  This interactive collection of tools incorporates many different functions for simplifying flexo prepress, plate making and process control.   The app can assist platemakers with tasks ranging from the calculation of plate distortion and solvent balance to monitoring UV-A irradiance and the determination of sleeve diameters.  With a myriad of other helpful functions and tips at the push of a button, plate making will never be the same!  Come by the Flint Group booth #1103 for live demonstrations of the app at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm daily.  The FlexoToolbox™ app will be available for free in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store in late April, 2014, and is sure to be a must-have app for anyone working in prepress or press-side functions in the printing industry.

Got chips?  Try the new nyloflex® FRC printing plate with superior resistance to chipping during plate washout ­- a common issue among many corrugated plates, especially thick plates with deep relief requirements.  The new plate is based on an optimized formulation for faster exposure and processing times to improve productivity as compared with many traditional printing plates.  The nyloflex® FRC plate is compatible with flat top dot technologies to reduce fluting on all board types.  The new plate is available in both analog and digital formats and thicknesses ranging from .112” to .250”.
