25 campers experience “life as a college freshman” and learn about graphic communications.
Murfreesboro, N.C. - Make plans to attend the 2014 Summer Graphics Camp at Chowan University. It will be held June 22-27, 2014. There is space for 25 campers to stay on campus for the week. Students will experience “life as a college freshman” by living in the dorms, attending classes and labs in the Horner Graphic Communications Center, enjoying the Hawk’s Nest for entertainment, and having most meals in the cafeteria. There will be one day set aside for a field trip to tour a major printing facility. All of this is included in the $150.00 camp fee. Students must be rising juniors or seniors.
Campers will receive individual attention from instructors and lots of hands-on experience in offset press, flexography, screen-printing, packaging, digital print technology, photography, designing projects, and much more. Students will have the opportunity to learn what the field of graphic communications is all about.
