Recipients to Be Recognized at Xploration® 14
Lutz, FL – Xplor International, the worldwide electronic document systems association, today announced the winners of its 2014 Technology and Application of the Year Awards. The awards will be presented at a ceremony Wednesday, March 26, 2014, during the Xploration® 14 event at the Wyndham Orlando Resort International Drive in Orlando, Florida.
Application of the Year Award:
The Application of the Year Award is presented to an individual, a company or an organization to recognize outstanding achievement in the imaginative application of current technology and/or unique implementation of existing document and communication systems. This award is open to members and non-members.
Due to the number of submissions for 2014, Xplor has awarded two honorable mentions in addition to announcing the winner of the award.
The 2nd Honorable Mention is being awarded to Washington based service provider CCS and RICOH for their implementation of an ADF solution utilizing Process Director to support a large healthcare customer.
The 1st Honorable Mention is awarded to Canon Solutions America for their implementation of the InkControl system that provides consumption estimates prior to a production run and reporting back the ink usage during actual production.
The winner of the 2014 Xplor Application of the Year is Cathedral Corporation. Cathedral developed and implemented a three-touch direct mail program for a large church client in Wisconsin with amazing results. As a result of this program, 40% of those who received the request to increase their contribution levels did so, resulting in a 24% increase in overall weekly contributions.
Technology of the Year Award:
The Technology of the Year Award honors an individual, company or organization that has conceived and developed an original concept leading to a significant advancement in the industry. This can be a new program, product or technology that notably enhances the capabilities of document and communication systems.
Like the Application of the Year award, Xplor will present two honorable mentions in addition to the winner of the award due to the large number of submissions.
The 2nd Honorable Mention for the Technology of the Year Award is being awarded to Canon Solutions America for the Oce ColorStream 3000 Series printers. The DigiDot multilevel dot modulation produces crisp details and smooth halftones with a perceived quality of 1200 dpi at full rated speed.
The 1st Honorable Mention for the Xplor Technology of the year award is being awarded to the HP Relate product. Relate empowers Salesforce users to design, customize and deliver compelling, highly personalized documents to accelerate customer acquisition, reduce customer churn, increase cross-sell/up sell success and improve customer satisfaction
The winner of the 2014 Xplor Technology of the Year is being awarded to Crawford Technologies Riptide product. Riptide™ delivers a wide range of functionality to the output management space for large enterprises. Specifically it is a productivity solution which assembles, enhances and distributes documents from Enterprise Content Management (ECM) repositories.
Crawford Technologies’ Riptide™ enhances the functionality of ECM systems by providing end users and business process workflow applications with a powerful output platform.
