Axeda and Kodak Versamark Expand Relationship

Press release from the issuing company

MANSFIELD, Mass., and DAYTON, Ohio, March 30 -- Axeda Systems Inc., the world's leading provider of device relationship management (DRM) enterprise software and services today announced the expansion of its relationship with Kodak Versamark, Inc., a leading worldwide supplier of ultra-high speed digital printing solutions and a wholly owned subsidiary of Eastman Kodak Company. Kodak Versamark became an Axeda customer in 2001. For the past two years the relationship has consistently progressed with Axeda's DRM software now installed in Kodak Versamark printing systems in sites located in the Americas, Europe, Asia Pacific, and Japan. The base of systems with the DRM software continues to grow as Kodak Versamark installs new systems and adds the software to existing installations. "Axeda's commitment to proactive customer service is an important part of our success in implementing Axeda DRM," said Don Kitchen, manager, Global Customer Service Support for Kodak Versamark. "As a result of our combined efforts, Axeda DRM is helping Kodak Versamark's field service team proactively manage equipment deployed at customer sites and enabling them to identify and correct potential problems before they impact our customers' production capabilities." Kitchen continued, "The beauty of the Axeda DRM system is its ability to monitor and analyze system data and automatically trigger a corrective or investigative action by service without human intervention. The result is increased productivity for the customer and better management of service resources for Kodak Versamark." "Our successful partnership is a result of a dedicated team of Axeda and Kodak Versamark professionals who are working together to deploy Axeda DRM to improve field service capabilities within the digital printing segment," said Dale Calder, president and founder of Axeda Systems. "Axeda continues to work closely with the Kodak Versamark team to continue to expand the relationship and deploy DRM throughout their vast global digital printing network."
