IPIA Announces Keynote Speakers for Innovation Conference

Leading industry trade association, the Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA), has confirmed a number of leading industry keynote speakers for its forthcoming Innovation Conference, including Gerry Mulvaney of Landa Digital Printing. 

The conference, entitled, ‘The Evolution of Innovation – The very best in naturally selected Marketing, Print and Packaging Innovations’, will be held at the unique venue of Twycross Zoo in Warwickshire on Wednesday, 2nd April, 2014.

Attendees to the event at the World Primate Centre will hear presentations from a wide variety of leading industry specialists, who will present their thoughts on the newest revolutionary developments and the latest marketing, print and packaging innovations affecting the print sector.

Industry stalwart and now European Sales Manager with Landa Digital Printing, Gerry Mulvaney, will provide an insight into how Nanography™ can open up new opportunities across the supply chain, along with the growth of digital printing and the value it can bring to brand owners, print buyers and providers. Other speakers will include; Anna Sargent, Strategic Solutions Manager with Royal Mail Group Ltd, who will provide her presentation on ‘Mailmark™ – The future of Mail and how it can help maximise the value of printed customer communications’; Peter Lancaster, CEO of Documobi Ltd, and a specialist in strategy, implementation and marketing of new technologies for digital imaging and print, will provide information for attendees on how they can, ‘Make Print Digital in a Mobile World’, and how print can be linked to a mobile marketing campaign.

Philip Cullimore, Managing Director EMEA and Chairman of Eastman Kodak Sàrl will present his thoughts on, ‘The best of both world’s – How hybrid printing can transform your campaign’, including combining digital print with a hybrid strategy. Also, Lisa Edgar, Founder of the Big Window® Consulting will reveal her ground-breaking research into ‘Actual Age vs Perceived Age’ which is set to transform the way marketers reach and talk to their target audience.

Additional speakers include Alistair Niederer, CEO of Teleperformance UK, Ireland and South Africa, a global leading company in the field of customer experience; Chris Tonge, Sales and Marketing Director of print and packaging company, Ultimate Group; Keran Turakhia, joint founder of intelligent packaging promotions innovators, Hive, and Chris Rushton, Sales and Development Manager with leading print industry publisher, Whitmar Publications Digital Printer magazine. 

All of which promises to be a formidable and highly evocative speaker platform, making the conference a must attend event.

Commenting on the announcement of the conference and confirmation of the key speakers, IPIA Chief Executive Andrew Pearce, stated, “Not only do we have an exciting new venue for our 2014 conference – the programme is the best yet.  This unique event ensures representatives of the print, packaging and direct marketing industries are brought fully up to date with the very latest in cutting edge technology and innovation.”

Early bird offer rates for IPIA, DMA and EFIA members are £115 for the first delegate, with the second and subsequent delegates at £57.50 per person. Fees for non-members who wish to attend are; £145 for the first delegate, with the second and subsequent delegates charged at £72.50 per person.
