Toray Plastics Announces Promotions in Torayfan Division

Chris Voght, Franco Chicarella, and Lauritz Goodrich are recognized for their accomplishments.

North Kingstown, Rhode Island - Toray Plastics (America), Inc., the only United States manufacturer of precision-performance polypropylene, polyester, bio-based, and metallized films for packaging and industrial applications, announces that Chris Voght has been promoted to Senior Director of Sales of theTorayfan Division. Voght previously served the company as the Director of the Strategic Alliance Group, when he oversaw a team that handles key accounts. He joined Toray in 1999 after graduating with a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Massachusetts and held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, product management, and sales functions. Voght earned an M.B.A. from Babson College. Also within the Torayfan Division, Toray has promoted Franco Chicarella to the position of National Sales Manager.Chicarella previously worked in the Division as a Business Manager. He joined Toray in 2000 as an engineering intern and signed on full-time in 2001 as a Process Engineer in the Lumirror® Division. In 2010 he shifted back to the Torayfan Division as a Product Manager. He holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the University of Rhode Island.

The third promotion announced recognizes Lauritz Goodrich, who is now Senior Manager of the Strategic Alliance Group. Prior to the promotion, Goodrich served the Torayfan Division as a National Sales Manager, a Business Manager, and a Key Accounts Product Manager. Goodrich came to Toray in 2007 after having worked with Kraft Foods and Unilever. He holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from Michigan State University.
