MEI Highlights Best Practices and Innovation in Digital Publishing at Pro Pub Summit 2013

Jenkintown, PA - ? Managing Editor Inc.(MEI), an Adobe premier partner and a leading provider of software solutions for digital publishing, hosted its Pro Pub Summit 2013 on Thursday, December 12, in Philadelphia. The summit featured presentations from MEI technology partners, vjoon and Adobe, as well customer success stories from top publishers in the industry.

vjoon CEO and founder Andreas Schrader shared the progress of the vjoon K4® publishing platform, along with new features included in the latest release. MEI's Director of Product Management, Brett Kizner, demonstrated how to add efficiencies to production workflows using K4 and MEI Toolbox. Kizner also discussed the updates and advantages of MEI's custom app storefront solution, MEI Portico?, and provided a first glimpse into the recently announced addition of HipZone's Integrated Media Planner (IMP) to MEI's solution suite. As an added bonus, Adobe's Business Development Director Mike Zahorik presented the current state of the tablet marketplace and the latest improvements to their products, including the Adobe® Digital Publishing Suite? (DPS) and Creative Cloud.

The summit featured several MEI customer success stories presented by industry-leading professionals from Condé Nast International, Prometheus Global Media, Euromoney Institutional Investor and TVA Publications. Each presentation focused on MEI solutions that were instrumental in improving their unique publishing workflow environments. Attendees had the exclusive opportunity to hear from fellow K4 and Adobe users regarding specialized configurations, best practices and expertise on how to get the most value out of their publishing systems.
