Rotterdam Printer Relies on Ryno Rollers

Press release from the issuing company

Koro Print, a commercial and envelope printer in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, relies on Ryno Rollers across their machine line, utilizing rollers manufactured by Rollenco, a Ryno Roller licensee in Bleiswijk, The Netherlands. Discussing his roller installation, Machel Antuzzi, Koro CEO said: "Since we began using the Rollenco rollers made with Ryno Roller compound, we have seen definite improvements in print quality. We use the Rollenco/Ryno rollers in a wide range of different presses on our floor, including Heidelberg Speedmasters and specialized machines such as Winkler & Dünnebier and Halm envelope presses. Although we have a wide range of equipment, we prefer to use rollers from one supplier. Rollenco recommended different Ryno Roller compounds for our different presses, depending upon the specific product being printed. As a result, we use rollers made with both Ryno Blue and Ryno Web Red compounds, depending on the exact location in the press. For water rollers, we use rollers made with Ryno Hydrometric compound, and have seen significantly improved ink/water balance and consistency in our press runs. We also found that roller cleaning is both easier and more thorough than with other aftermarket rollers. Roller life also appears to be dramatically better than with other options. We attribute our excellent performance to the many Ryno Roller compounds available and the wide range of shore ratings offered."
