GMC Software Technology Achieves ISTQB Gold Partner Status

Press release from the issuing company

Testing Certification Demonstrates Quality of Software

GMC Software Technology (GMC), the award-winning leader in Customer Communications Management (CCM) and output management, announces that it has achieved ISTQB© Gold Partner status. As part of GMC’s policy of continuous improvement, this will have a positive effect on the quality of the company’s software.

The new certification recognizes that all of GMC’s 30-person global software testing team has reached a world-class standard of professionalism and expertise, and that the team members possess all required skills and competencies. The partner status was awarded on the basis of exam results achieved by GMC’s testers.

“We are pleased that GMC has joined the ISTQB partner program at gold level, which helps to demonstrate the importance of testing as a profession internationally,” said Petr Neugebauer, marketing and promotion manager for the Czech and Slovak Testing Board, a member of ISTQB.

“This new status is another level of verification for GMC customers, ensuring they can be fully confident in the quality of the GMC Inspire platform,” said Pavel Verner, head of quality assurance at GMC Software Technology. “This means that companies can take advantage of all of GMC Inspire’s features and functionalities to improve their customer communications, with the reassurance that they are using a thoroughly tested and verified platform.”

ISTQB has created the world's most successful scheme for certifying software testers.

As of March 2013, ISTQB has issued over 295,000 certifications in 70 countries worldwide. The scheme relies on a body of knowledge and exam rules that are applied consistently all over the world, with exams and supporting material being available in many languages.
