Press release from the issuing company
NORWALK, Conn. - Xerox was cited in "The Forrester Wave™: Enterprise Content Management, Q3 2013" report as a Strong Performer in the "Overall Capabilities" category, and in the two other categories of "Business Content Capabilities" and Transactional Content Capabilities."
Forrester Research, Inc., evaluated the latest version of Xerox DocuShare, version 6.6.1 and noted in the report:
According to Forrester, one of the areas trending in ECM is that "’mobile first’ has become the user expectation." In response, Xerox offers DocuShare Mobile so workers can search, edit and download documents easily while on the go.
Forrester also sees a current trend in which "clients move from suites to solving specific business problems." To address this trend, Xerox Litigation Services delivers technology-driven tools, software and consulting expertise to manage end-to-end e-discovery, both on-premises and in the cloud.
"Successful ECM offerings need to be holistic and nimble – ready to answer whatever document and digital content challenges industries and organizations face today," said Mike Feldman, president, Large Enterprise Operations, Xerox. "Our content management solutions are designed to keep businesses ahead of the curve by simplifying how work gets done."
Xerox’s ECM industry offerings are designed to meet the unique document workflows of various businesses, including education, mortgage and healthcare. The offerings – supported by Xerox innovation – include patented tools for text and image analysis, categorization and content analytics. In addition, Xerox Transactional Content Manager, a web-based content management solution for services delivery, automates processes across industries, helping organizations achieve greater efficiencies.
