The Ribbon Cutting was officiated by Peter Rivera, New York State Commissioner of Labor representing Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Additional speakers included Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz, Joseph Emminger, Tonawanda Deputy Supervisor and Dottie Gallagher-Cohen, President of the Buffalo Niagara Partnership. The Ribbon cutting was followed by a reception and plant tour.
The building, upgrades and press purchase represent a $7.2 mm investment by Zenger Group and helps retain 110 existing jobs with Zenger and 52 existing jobs with building tenants. Zenger Group also plans to add 25 new jobs over the next five years. The project was supported by Empire State Development Corp., Erie County Industrial Development Agency, Town of Tonawanda, National Grid and the Buffalo Niagara Partnership.
