Press release from the issuing company

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Tom Green, a 16-year printing industry veteran who most recently represented AGFA Corp.’s highest-speed products in North America, recently joined Durst’s UV inkjet digital production printing solutions team as Sales Manager for its Great Lakes region, the company has announced.

From 1997 to 2011 Green worked for Thieme Corporation, the German manufacturer of commercial printing systems, rising to Sales Manager of the Eastern U.S. region.  He developed extensive knowledge of and experience with screen, litho and digital imaging – specializing not only in large-format POP/POS applications, but also a range of innovative industrial applications such as printing on glass, membrane switch, solar, and other techniques.

For the two years prior to joining Durst, Green focused solely on digital imaging as North American Sales Manager for AGFA.  A resident of Cleveland, Ohio, Green is a graduate of Ohio University.

“Tom’s broad experience with key wide-format print functions, as well as today’s most creative imaging output applications, makes him a strong and welcome addition to the Durst sales team – and we’re very pleased that he’s joined us,” said Christopher Howard, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Durst U.S.  “We think our customers, as well as imaging professionals thinking about becoming our customers, will discover how his knowledge of today’s imaging technologies and his consultative approach to help print providers make smart choices can aid their operational efficiency and overall success.”

Green serves printing industry professionals in Durst’s Great Lakes region, which encompasses the states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia and Virginia.
