Brandtjen & Kluge, Inc. to Demonstrate Stand Alone and Integrated Folding and Gluing Solutions at PRINT13

By WhatTheyThink

St. Croix Falls, WI - Kluge equipment will be highlighted at two different locations at PRINT13. We will be co-exhibiting in the Colter & Peterson booth # 3940 and Kluge will be promoting the "Cartons in Minutes" digital production line with strategic partner LasX at booth # 1867. Kluge will have technical experts on hand to address any folding and gluing, foil stamping, and die cutting applications.

At the Colter & Peterson booth # 3940, Kluge will be exhibiting the ComFold Folding and Gluing System with a rigid packaging application. The Kluge ComFold is the most flexible folder gluer in its class. Kluge modular folding and gluing systems are designed for quick change-over, consistent registration and superior sheet control with available marble drives, top belt drives, vacuum transports, and independent bearing-bed transports. At PRINT13 you will see a demonstration of the Kluge independent bearing-bed transport system, a unique system designed for production of folding cartons and other packaging products.

Colter & Peterson, headquartered in Paterson, New Jersey, is North America's largest independent distributor of paper cutters and paper handling equipment. In addition to their highly successful Saber® and Prism® brand line of paper cutters, they will be introducing a new 57-inch precision knife sheeter and their Accutrim HD1680 three knife trimmer. The highly automated 45-inch Saber X15 paper cutter will be shown at the Komori America booth # 1251 during PRINT13.

At the LasX booth # 1867, Kluge and LasX will be promoting their "Cartons in Minutes" digital print - laser cutting and converting system. Kluge and LasX have partnered to co-market an On-Demand Laser Cutting and Converting Solution for folding cartons and other folded and glued products. At PRINT13 you will see a demonstration of "Cartons in Minutes" - a continuous digital process that takes raw materials to finished goods in minutes, not days or weeks. LasX and Kluge's two technologies are combined with digital printing in an inline configuration consisting of LasX's laser processing using variable data and Kluge's flexible modular folding and gluing systems designed for quick changeover. The result is a cost effective system for one-to-one folding cartons with complete personalization and instant order change.

LasX, a White Bear Lake, Minnesota based company has developed their LaserSharp Laser Cutting Systems and equipment for cutting medical, electronic, and graphic arts applications. LasX has been providing sheet fed laser cutting and robot handling systems since 2008.
