DIRECTIONS Adds Interactive Sessions For Heidelberg Workflow & Digital Users
Press release from the issuing company
Clifton Park, NY -- November 6, 2003 -- The Heidelberg Digital Imaging Association (HDIA) today announces that it has added two highly focused, interactive sessions for Heidelberg Workflow and Digital Imaging customers attending DIRECTIONS’03, its 15th Annual Meeting, being held November 9-12 in Atlanta, Georgia.
The two crucial sessions added are:
Monday, Nov. 10, 12noon-2pm, Workflow Roundtable/Working Lunch
Delta, MetaDimension, Prinergy, Printready and other Heidelberg workflow users discuss product capabilities and migration issues with Heidelberg's worldwide VP of Workflow Solutions, Peter Leu, and the prepress team from Heidelberg USA.
Tuesday, Nov. 11, 12noon-2pm, Digital Printing Roundtable/Working Lunch
NexPress and Digimaster users discuss product capabilities and future requirements with NexPress CEO Venkat “Puru” Purushotham, COO Art Carroll, and the digital printing team from Heidelberg USA.
Both of these additions are box lunch, roll-up-your-sleeves sessions to help users and Heidelberg and NexPress best understand each other’s directions and needs.
According to Joel Friedman, HDIA Executive Director, “We’ve analyzed our attendee demographics, especially with regard to product-line interests, and fine-tuned the conference agenda to focus the program even more than before on the needs of those actually attending."
We’ve adjusted our agenda to customize the programs and sessions based on the most crucial interests and needs of attendees virtually on demand. As an event for users organized by users, we‚re pleased to be able to make these changes easily and for the benefit of the attendees.”
DIRECTIONS'03 is shaping up to be a real interactive event whereby users will have the opportunity to actively participate in sharing ideas and best practices with their peers as well as actively provide input for future directions of Heidelberg and NexPress products.
Also, additional interactive learning and discussion opportunities are now available, as lunches and dinners on Monday and Tuesday, November 10-11 are being turned into working sessions.
There will be no changes in keynotes or other general session activities.
