Its configurable component systems are engineered to accommodate tomorrow’s business demands

No matter what manufacturing process lies ahead for a printer or bindery—offset, digital or hybrid—Muller Martini is developing highly flexible, configurable component systems that prepare a business for the opportunities ahead, while protecting today’s bottom lines. Muller’s message, “Investment Protection. Make Ready for Change,” will be showcased in Booth #831 at this year’s Print 13 which features:

• Presto II Digital Saddle Stitching System. This small- to mid-size stitcher can integrate roll or flat sheet printed digital material with conventionally printed signatures. It can be configured as a standard stitcher to replace an older asset, with components added to make it digital-ready. The Presto II Digital delivers production, labor and workflow efficiencies as manufacturers no longer need independent finishing solutions for each type of formatted product.
• Solit Three Knife Trimmer. Performing at 4,500 cycles per hour with an 85mm trim thickness capacity, the Solit’s automation platform is designed to perform in both digital- and medium-run offset production environments, making it a highly efficient trimming solution for today’s evolving print landscape. The trimmer is modeled after Muller’s highly successful Orbit platform. Booth visitors can take home their own Personal Journal trimmed on the Solit.
• Investment Protection Program (IPP). Part of Muller’s highly successful equipment renewal program, MMServices, Muller is unveiling its Investment Protection Program at Print 13. Attendees can receive an on-the-spot industry-first, customized proposal which details available machine upgrades for both new and legacy Muller equipment. These upgrades ensure that the value of the equipment—and its productivity—remains at the highest level.
• ^MMInspect. This operational improvement program, similar to an automobile’s 20-point inspection, is all about achieving optimum performance levels. Muller’s booth will feature a graphic interface displaying the productivity upside inherent in bringing a machine back to its baseline.
• Modular Component Design. With simply the base of its newest perfect binder—the Alegro—on display, an animated presentation illustrates Muller’s module engineering design, providing attendees a clear understanding of how Muller machines are engineered to grow as business grows.

In addition, Booth #831 will include the Muller Movie Theatre where product engineers and specialists will provide live, on-going presentations with video back-up detailing the equipment and technology displayed at Print 13.

Print 13 takes place September 8-12, 2013 at Chicago’s McCormick Place. Muller Martini’s theme at this year’s show is “Investment Protection. Make Ready for Change.” Muller’s engineers and product specialists will be on hand in Booth #831 to demonstrate manufacturing technology that’s been designed to grow as business grows, through components that add capabilities to accommodate dual production output.
