Midland Continues Aggressive Expansion of Specialty Paper and Film Offering 

WHEELING, IL – Midland Paper, Packaging and Supplies, one of North America's largest independent distributors of media for business communications, is excited to announce the appointment of David Field as the company’s Senior Business Manager – Inkjet Technologies, effective Monday, July 22, 2013.  Field previously served as Marketing Manager for Wide Format at Ariva Distribution. 

Field will focus his efforts on continuing to build Midland’s Inkjet Media Program including Wide Format Media, Rigid Substrates and High Speed Inkjet Media.  “We are confident that David has the background and the skills needed to help position Midland as one of the premiere distribution companies for Inkjet media in North America”, said Mike Ratcliff, Midland’s VP and General Manager for the Specialty Paper and Film Division.  “He is a perfect fit for our needs as we continue to grow and expand our Specialty Paper and Film offering to our customers”.     

Field possesses a B.S. Degree in Advertising & Marketing from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL.   Prior to his position at Ariva, he was a Wide Format Media Marketing Manager at  Oce’.
