CrawfordTech honors Chuck Forman with EDSF scholarship

Press release from the issuing company

Crawford Technologies pays tribute to beloved employee through creation of annual scholarship

Toronto, ON – Crawford Technologies is proud to announce the creation of the annual “Charles H. ‘Chuck’ Forman – Crawford Technologies Scholarship” in partnership with EDSF (Electronic Document Scholarship Foundation). This new scholarship has been created to honor the contributions Chuck Forman has made throughout his career towards Crawford Technologies and the industry. Chuck recently retired from his position at Crawford Technologies as Senior Support Analyst and Trainer and is courageously battling cancer.

“Chuck Forman brought so much to the industry that we felt compelled to honor him in the most meaningful way we could think of,” said Ernie Crawford, President of Crawford Technologies.

“Throughout his career Chuck made a difference in the lives of so many by being an educator. The creation of this scholarship will ensure that his name and legacy will live on for generations to come.”

The “Charles H. ‘Chuck’ Forman – Crawford Technologies Scholarship” will award $1,000 annually to a bright, up-and-coming full-time student committed to pursuing a career in the document management and graphic communications marketplace. The 2013 recipient will be announced on July 15, 2013 and a ceremony will be held in New Jersey in August, 2013, with Chuck Forman in attendance.

“Become an educator whenever you can. Teaching one person or a whole group reaffirms what you know – or think you know – and you always learn new things from the students you are teaching,” said Chuck Forman. “It doesn’t require formal training, just the courage to create a presentation and present it. The personal returns are well worth the time spent.”
