CHICAGO, IL -- Schawk, Inc., a leading provider of brand development and deployment services, enabling companies of all sizes to connect their brands with consumers, announced today that in celebration of its 60th anniversary, the Company will visit the New York Stock Exchange.

In honor of the occasion, Founder and Chairman Clarence W. Schawk, along with members of Schawk, Inc.'s executive leadership team, will ring the NYSE Opening Bell onFriday, June 7, at 9:30 am (EDT) to commemorate the Company's rich history and to signal a new step forward in the Company's evolution. The Company started trading on theNYSE in 1995.

Clarence W. Schawk noted the occasion as evidence of the Company's agile nature. "Schawk has evolved from black and white to color, from analog to digital, from packaging to cross-media and from premedia to brand development and brand deployment. Standing still is not an option. We're always evolving."

Added Mr. Schawk, "The only thing that has remained static throughout our evolution is our singular focus on the customer. As long as we are anticipating and fulfilling the dynamic needs of our clients and helping them improve the performance of their brands, we are providing services that many of the world's most respected companies value."

Founded 60 years ago by Clarence W. Schawk as a one-man Chicago-based platemaking operation in the basement of his aunt's home, the Company has grown to over 3,600 employees and evolved to offer integrated brand development and brand deployment services from more than 150 locations in more than 26 countries. The Company provides its services to many of the world's leading consumer goods, retail and life sciences companies, including more than 25 Fortune 100 companies.

On a more personal note, Mr. Schawk remarked: "Looking back, it's not just the growth of the business that has been gratifying, but also what that growth has allowed us to do. It has enabled us to strengthen our relationships with employees and with non-profit groups in the local community. We value the relationships we have with our remarkably talented employees and our local community leaders and seek to continue to enrich their experience with us."

"Another gratifying outgrowth of our success has been the ability of the Clarence W. and Marilyn G. Schawk Family Foundation to help support the education of approximately 4,000 children in 27 elementary schools and three high schools within inner city Chicago. It is both humbling and fulfilling to have had some impact on the quality of life on so many members of future generations."
