Until June 30, 2013 anyone who purchases or upgrades to QuarkXPress 9 from ANY previous version will receive version 10 for free. After June 30, 2013 only QuarkXPress 8 users will be eligible to upgrade to QuarkXPress 9 for a free upgrade to QuarkXPress 10. Also after June 30, QuarkXPress 3-7 users will no longer be eligible to upgrade to QuarkXPress 9 or 10 and will to need to purchase new full licenses.

It’s been a hugely popular program and we’d like to make sure all users who aren’t up-to-date can take advantage of the policy before it ends on June 30, 2013,” said Gavin Drake, vice president of marketing for Quark. “For users who are using an old version of QuarkXPress due to compatibility with their systems, the upgrade to version 9 makes sense because it is the last version that will open legacy documents from versions 3-6. The official start date of the Buy 9, Get 10 offer is June 5, 2013. Customers who purchased QuarkXPress 9 within the last 30 days will also be eligible to receive QuarkXPress 10 for free.
