Press release from the issuing company
COLUMBUS, OHIO - Columbus CEO Magazine and WBNS-10TV partnered with WorplaceDynamics LLP to identify the top places to work in Central Ohio. Hopkins Printing fit the bill, and was ranked in the top 25 amongst small organizations with 124 or fewer employees.
WorkplaceDynamics LLP, a firm specializing in workplace research, invited 803 companies to participate in a rigorous selection process which involved statistical analysis, employee surveys, and reporting on stringent workplace standards. Hopkins Printing founder and CEO, Jim Hopkins commented on what this award represents. "This was a widespread search for the best workplaces in Central Ohio. Being recognized as the 24th best small organization was quite an honor. We were pleased to be in the company of many other fine businesses, including several of our customers."
Michelle Waterhouse, Director of Human Resources at Hopkins Printing, told us: "Being a manufacturer was a concern for us because we don't often have the opportunity to offer the same types of perks and fun activities as a service organization. The all-employee survey was an avenue to receive both positive and negative feedback on our total employment package. This recognition was icing on the cake."
Hopkins' 102 employees were represented at the awards ceremony by four of their fellow co-workers at COSI last Thursday evening. Being an ESOP, all employees share in the success of this honor.
The May issue of Columbus C.E.O. Magazine has a complete list of all winning companies and is on newsstands now.
