New Photo Imaging Pavilion Debuts for Creative Photo and Imaging Professionals
Reston, VA - PRINT 13 coming September 8-12 to Chicago's McCormick Place will mark the debut of a brand new show floor section, PHOTO FINISH - The Photo Imaging Pavilion, featuring the latest in photo, photo book, wide format, specialty photo, all-sized imaging, creation, and finishing related equipment, software, and substrates. Here creative photo professionals will also be able to take advantage of the new Photo Imaging Conference sponsored by Photo Imaging News, and "Shoot-Out America," a three-day training slate sponsored by the SPI Convention. In addition, photo imagers and display and sign professionals will be able to discover the hottest wide-format trends and innovations at BIG - the new Wide Format Pavilion adjacent to PHOTO FINISH.
"The photography and photo imaging industries have undergone rapid and unprecedented changes in the past several years," says Ralph Nappi, President of the Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC). "As industry professionals continue to adapt to these changes they have recognized PRINT 13 as an ideal single source for the direction and tools they need to create new revenue streams and future profits."
This recognition is evident in the decision of groups such as FASTSIGNS(c) and the International Sign Association (ISA), along with 60+ other groups, to co-locate their events during PRINT 13.
The new Photo Imaging Conference will explore opportunities for the photo and display imaging businesses and for print service providers in both the B2B and consumer markets. "Shoot-Out Americas" will provide hands-on training from 12 industry leaders in marketing, sales, product design, packaging, and shooting. The neighboring BIG Wide Format Pavilion will give creative imaging professionals an opportunity to discover how to sell, create, and finish a variety of wide format applications on various media and substrates.
