PSDA & BCT Announce Service Agreement for all PSDA Members

Press release from the issuing company

The Print Services & Distribution Association (PSDA) and BCT, Inc. recently reached an agreement guaranteeing print-related service levels for all PSDA members.

“PSDA members are the most knowledgeable in the industry and some of our best customers,” said BCT President Peter Posk. “PSDA has vast educational resources, not to mention numerous peer-to-peer networking opportunities. We wanted to formalize our relationship with PSDA and offer guaranteed levels of service to its membership.”

PSDA Executive Vice President Matt Sanderson said: “It’s important that our members receive the same level of service that the largest national accounts receive. Among other things, BCT has committed to get orderprinting.com web-to-print sites up on behalf of PSDA members in one week or less, all quotes will be responded to within 24 hours or less, and BCT will not charge PSDA members for integrating orderprinting.com with procurement technologies such as ARIBA.

“This relationship adds great value for our members,” Sanderson added. “For example, more and more PSDA members have customers requiring integrations with solutions like ARIBA. This can cost a member $20,000 or more, which aside from the technical challenges for the typical print reseller, it is also often cost prohibitive. BCT has a technology team that has been doing these integrations for years on behalf of print resellers, and PSDA wanted to negotiate the free service for all of its member companies.”

BCT is a featured exhibitor in PSDA’s 2013 Distributor Solutions Expo, to be held May 8-9 at the Navy Pier Convention Center in Chicago. This annual trade show is the must-attend event for distributors and manufacturers that want to partner to deliver powerful solutions for end-user customers.
