Kodak Names Spicers a Gold Reseller for the Canadian Graphic Communications Market

Press release from the issuing company

Rochester, NY - Kodak has named Spicers Canada Limited a Gold Reseller for its portfolio of commercial imaging solutions throughout Canada. Spicers is a long-standing Canadian reseller of Kodak’s industry-leading Unified Workflow Solutions, such as KODAK PRINERGY Workflow, KODAK CTP Systems, and KODAK Plates, Consumables and Services. The expanded, Gold Reseller, relationship will enable Spicers to offer a broader range of solutions including Packaging Solutions such as KODAK FLEXCEL NX Products and Digital Printing Solutions.

“Our relationship with Spicers continues to flourish and it is now one of our most important in North America,” explained John O’Grady, Managing Director, U.S. & Canada Region and Vice President, Eastman Kodak Company. “Kodak’s channel strategy in Canada is to work with partners who have a strong business alignment with Kodak, and the capability to sell workflow, prepress, flexographic and digital print solutions. Spicers will deliver value to the graphics market and our mutual customers.”

Kodak’s Gold Resellers have several advantages including:

  • access to some of Kodak’s most advanced graphics technologies, including PROSPER S-Series Imprinting Systems, NEXPRESS Digital Production Color Presses, and Packaging solutions;
  • increased involvement and services within a wider range of offset customers.
  • Kodak selects Gold Resellers based on the commitment they have demonstrated to Kodak and their expertise representing Kodak’s broad range of Commercial Imaging solutions.

“In Kodak we have a respected and trusted partner united with Spicers in a common focus on the strength that exists within Canada’s commercial print market,” said Cory Turner, President, Spicers Canada Limited. “By working closely together, I am very confident both companies will create relevant solutions that will make positive contributions to our customers’ ongoing success.”
