Press release from the issuing company
Charlotte, North Carolina - A leader in the flexographic industry, global anilox roll supplier Harper Corporation of America frequently attends conferences and other events to share its technology and products and learn more about the innovations that are taking place in the flexographic field. Most recently, the Harper team partnered with Clemson University and Cal Poly State University at the 2013 Flexible and Printed Electronics Conference and Exhibition from January 29 thru February 1. This event allowed the Harper team to explain and demonstrate its latest products and services and to network with industry professionals.
Tony Donato and Alexander James represented Harper Corporation of America at the event, which allowed them to collaborate with the representatives of Clemson University and Cal Poly State University to showcase the uses of package printing processes.
"At FlexTech 2013, we were able to perform live drawdowns using the Phantom QD's flexo and gravure features on its flat bed table using conductive inks on flexible and rigid substrates," comments Donato. "The QD system is extremely versatile and proving valuable to researchers who are looking to explore the roll to roll printing processes. The conference helps to educate professionals in the printed electronics industry regarding the capabilities and applications of flexo and gravure technology. As a result, many of the visitors to our joint booth with Cal Poly and Clemson are now considering flexo and gravure as viable printing processes for PE."
Harper Corporation of America is a major proponent of innovation and continually seeks to improve the products and services that it provides to its customers. The Harper team looks forward to future industry events.
