Mount Laurel, NJ - OKI Data Americas announces development of a new series of high performance, smart A4 color multifunction printers (MFPs) in the mid-workgroup segment – the MC770 and MC780 series – with four available configurations. The different feature sets offer a number of useful options which deliver greater opportunity and competitive advantages for the channel. All models feature an embedded open application programming interface (API) platform for which an expanding suite of solutions will be available through OKI Data Americas.
These new color MFPs combine high-speed output, high print quality, enhanced feature sets, improved user interface, and streamlined document workflow processing into a single device that boasts a strong competitive pricing advantage including both a low cost per copy and low total cost of ownership. Available configurations include convenient finishing capabilities, plus expanded paper handling trays and feeders to satisfy the needs of even the most demanding workplace.
"OKI Data Americas is pleased to introduce the new MC770 and MC780 A4 color MFPs to the marketplace and to OKI’s already broad portfolio of award-winning printing solutions," said Hiroyuki Fukushima, Director of Non-Impact Printer Product Marketing for OKI Data Americas. "We are confident that the versatility and advanced functionality of the MC770 and MC780 MFPs featuring an embedded open API will be well-received within the market – particularly within key verticals such as retail, healthcare, education, government, manufacturing/transportation/logistics, and financial/insurance."
These competitively-priced, smart MFPs have toner yields among the highest in their class. The embedded open API platform allows customers and solution partners to more easily integrate these devices within their environments through customized MFP solutions to meet their specific business needs. By expanding the integration capabilities of these MFPs with a host of cloud-based business applications such as Google® Docs, Microsoft® SharePoint®, and Microsoft® Exchange, customers can increase efficiencies with document management workflows and output management solutions.
Fukushima continued, "The development of the MC770 and MC780 smart MFPs further demonstrates OKI Data’s commitment to providing customized printing solutions to the marketplace by responding to consumer needs, and delivering a comprehensive suite of end-to-end printing solutions to the channel."
All OKI products are built on parent company OKI Data Corporation’s history of leadership and innovation.
