Mosaica Group Director of Technology Becomes Certified Printing Standards Audit Consultant

Press release from the issuing company

Sussex, Wis. – The Mosaica Group, a graphic arts distributor serving companies throughout the Midwest with offices in Wisconsin and Indiana, announced that Director of Technology Matt Fehn has become one of 15 graphics professionals nationwide certified as Printing Standards Audit (PSA) Consultants to help the company stay on top in a rapidly changing industry.

The PSA Certification is a rigorous process designed to assess the ability to operate a standards-compliant workflow. Such workflows are fundamental to creating efficient print supply chains, especially as printers adopt new technologies and supply chains become more international in character.  By attaining the Certification, printers can objectively demonstrate that they have mastered the use of standards in workflows they operate.

"Our team is focused at all times on applying our expertise to provide solutions that produce direct benefits for our clients," said Randy Peters, President and CEO of The Mosaica Group. "Matt’s new certification will help our clients get the competitive advantage that only 15 graphics professionals in the nation can provide."

The training was conducted by RIT Gravure Research Professor Robert Chung, an internationally recognized authority on printing standards, with the assistance of IDEAlliance, a global community of content and media creators, and their service providers, material suppliers and technology partners.

The Printing Applications Laboratory (PAL) leverages expertise from across the RIT campus in areas such as imaging and color science, engineering, packaging, and materials science to provide a world-class platform for advanced studies of primary relevance today.
