Press release from the issuing company
Mentor, Ohio – Avery Dennison Reflective Solutions launched the ReadyPro™ Signmaking System today, a complete sign making solution that allows municipalities and government agencies to easily start a sign shop to produce traffic and safety signage with Avery Dennison retroreflective sheeting and overlay films.
The Avery Dennison ReadyPro Signmaking System includes pre-designed Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and many state Department of Transportation sign library files, a Graphtec cutting plotter that cuts Avery Dennison prismatic sheeting quickly and user-friendly SignCAD® and SignCAM® software.
"The ReadyPro Signmaking System allows government agencies to easily and quickly establish a sign fabrication shop," said Scott Chapman, Traffic & Safety Segment Manager, Avery Dennison Reflective Solutions. "ReadyPro meets the demand for a single source, state-of-the-art compatible signmaking system that is cost-effective, easy to use and efficient."
With all the equipment, software, and Avery Dennison films needed to fabricate traffic signs, the ReadyPro Signmaking System components represent the state-of-the-art in design, function, and reflectivity. With guaranteed compatibility, Avery Dennison takes the guesswork out of component and materials selection.
SignCAD software creates signs that meet federal and state standards for text, route markers, arrows and panels. Multiple standards are supported and smart objects are integrated. Simultaneously, SignCAM software links the design to the manufacturing phase by transferring relevant information such as letter count, size and colors when multiple signs are ready to print.
Two ReadyPro Signmaking System packages are available:
The Avery Dennison ReadyPro Signmaking System is fully compatible with TrafficJet™, a complete, cost-effective, highly flexible digital printing solution with equipment, ink and reflective sheeting for work zone signage.
ReadyPro and TrafficJet demonstrations will be available in the Avery Dennison Booth 1013 at ATSSA Traffic Expo, February 24 – 26, in San Diego, California.
