KBA North America is pleased to announce that Sam Pernice has joined the company in a dual role as the new web offset sales representative in the West as well as handling web parts and service solutions for KBA customers throughout the U.S. 

“Sam brings a wealth of knowledge about web offset printing to our entire customer base especially in the newspaper market,” says Mark Hischar, president and CEO of KBA North America. “We welcome his expertise in generating new business, providing service and training to our existing customers, and representing KBA’s wide array of web offset presses, especially our new popular Commander CL (newspaper) and C16 (commercial) web presses that are receiving praise from print professionals throughout the industry.”

For the last 23 years, Pernice has been involved in the domestic and international sale, customer support and service of high quality newspaper printing equipment and services. Most recently, he was the director of global sales for a web offset newspaper sales and service organization. His experience also includes the position of sales manager for a different web offset press manufacturer in which he oversaw sales in seven states and garnered extensive travel throughout Europe and Asia while posting overall sales in excess of $50 million. Prior to these positions, Pernice served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.
