January 8, 2013 – Clifton, NJ – E & M Bindery & Finishing, a leading high-volume trade bindery and finisher, announces that it now offers Spot & Flood UV coating. E & M's new UV coating solution provides durability and visual appeal to help its print customers add significant value to a wide range of projects.
E & M recently added a state-of-the-art 40" Sakurai screen press to handle all of its in-house UV coating services. UV coating offers many benefits to printers and their customers.

E & M customers can now choose from overall or spot UV coating in a variety of ink formulas: gloss, satin, matte, raised, soft touch, sandpaper, glitter, and many more. UV coating also is available in many soft and semi-rigid substrates – including paper, plastic sheet, film, and metallic sheet – with thicknesses from 0.1 to 0.8mm and dimensions from 14" x 22" to 28" x 40."

The Sakurai offers highly efficient, painstakingly accurate Spot UV coating production so E & M can consistently deliver on quality and turnaround demands for its customers' largest jobs. With production speeds up to 3000 sheets/hour, the Sakurai allows E & M to rapidly turn around UV coating work. Automatic feeding and pre-loading systems result in exceptional production efficiencies. The Sakurai also features register and guide rail systems to ensure accurate coating registration.
