The UK Kern Subsidiary Becomes a Strategic Distributor for PlanetPress EnvelopeNOW, PlanetPress Suite and PrintSoft
 
Milton Keynes, United Kingdom – Objectif Lune, leader in providing open software solutions for variable data printing, mail preparation, document composition and workflow automation today announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Kern Limited, UK subsidiary of the worldwide supplier of document processing system solutions.
 
Objectif Lune has been creating software solutions to compose, process, deliver, track and store any business document, independent of hardware compatibility and with full automation capability for more than 20 years. Located in Fareham, UK, Kern Limited distributes systems for document processing and packaging specifically built for the mid to high volume mailing market. The company's offering includes folding and inserting systems and products for pre- and post-processing of digital print designed for mail.
 
Both companies are leaders in their respective fields and have been developing systems and solutions to help businesses optimise and streamline their mailstream document and output processes for years. Thus, they decided to combine their shared expertise and field knowledge to bring integrated mailing solutions to Kern's customer base.
 
This strategic agreement will allow Kern and its distributors to market, distribute and support several solutions from the Objectif Lune portfolio: PlanetPress EnvelopeNOW, PlanetPress Suite and PrintSoft.
 
PlanetPress EnvelopeNOW is a stand-alone application allowing inserter owners to take full advantage of their post-processing devices and will be distributed with Kern's inserting machines. As for PlanetPress Suite, it will be offered as a mid-level solution for document composition and output management. Kern Limited will also be offering high volume correspondence solutions, specifically Hybrid Mail applications, for high-volume secure processing through the PrintSoft suite of solutions.
