Dr. Markus Rall is to join the Board of Directors of the global leader in the production of high-speed cutters, cutting and die-cutting systems for the graphics industry. Thus the long planned change in the Management of the POLAR Mohr Group is nearing conclusion.

Alfred Henschel, who recently celebrated his 63rd birthday, is handing over his position, as Managing Director and Speaker of the Board, to Dr. Markus Rall, who has a PhD in Physics and a Master's degree in Economics. Dr. Rall, who has worked in the company since 1 October 2012, will be responsible for Finance, Personnel and Purchasing at the POLAR-Mohr Group, as well as R&D and Engineering and Technology. Jürgen Freier, who has already been with the company since the end of last year, will be responsible as Managing Director for the areas of Sales, Marketing and Service. Both Managers can point to long-standing careers in various companies, with time spent in Europe, USA and Asia.

This lays the foundation for the continued success of POLAR-Mohr, a family company with a history dating back over a hundred years.

Alfred Henschel's accession to the POLAR-Mohr Management Board in 1996 spurred on the change from mechanical engineering to technological leadership in the field of cutting systems. In 2000, Henschel became Speaker of the Management Board, set up new production facilities in the growth market China and extended the business by making acquisitions to the POLAR Mohr Group. POLAR Mohr's global market leadership was furthered under the management of Alfred Henschel.
