New 100% document tracking solution is now available with Mail-Shop software
(Bellevue, WA) -- Virtual Systems Corp. and Ironsides Technology, two leading-edge developers of software tracking solutions for the print/mail document industry, are set to unveil their next-generation combined platform in December 2012. The new module of the popular Mail-Shop software features a brand new interface to Ironsides' APT (Automated Production Tracking), which guarantees 100% piece accountability.
The new integrated tracking solution features a machine mounted camera system which reads bar codes on each and every mail-piece and tracks them against an initial mailing file, thereby providing a rich data-set on exceptions and through-puts. While there are many brands and models of production devices and document composition software, the Virtual Systems / Ironsides' open and scalable architecture fits seamlessly across printing, finishing, mailing and fulfillment operations to automate the document processing workflow while ensuring piece and job level integrity.
"We were initially introduced to one another by a mutual prospect and quickly realized the deep potential of a formal partnership," said Chris Huber, president of Virtual Systems Corp. He continued, "After several discussions with Ironsides' President and CEO, Bill Riley, and exploring their software it was clear that we have a lot in common, the least of which is our interest in bringing a new integrated solution to the print/mail document market.
"The thing I value most about the partnership with Ironsides Technology is their willingness to get into the trenches of their customers and make good things happen. This is an industry that gains huge value from this sort of technical capital. I'm confident that virtual document and fulfillment centers will appreciate the work we have put into the new offering because it will allow them to completely automate their workflows and truly see new sales and profits as a result of being fully automated."
Said Riley, "In addition to creating new opportunities to win business, fully integrated document workflows have rarely been understood nor achieved at the commercial level. We feel like we are bringing something new to the table and even learning to adapt it further at the same time. So clearly the best is yet to come. I think companies will be impressed with the sophistication and support of the Virtual Systems / Ironsides partnership and will quickly see how easily they can implement a fully-automated document tracking system."
