Dscoop Inaugural EMEA Conference Highly Successful

Press release from the issuing company

Over 500 delegates attended the three-day Barcelona event

Chicago – Dscoop (Digital Solutions Cooperative), in conjunction with the HP Graphic Arts customers across the globe, proudly held its first EMEA ( Europe Middle East Africa) conference "Print United" November 7-9. The event drew over 500 attendees and offered three learning tracks (commercial print, label & packaging and business, sales &marketing), and offered a sold-out solutions showcase that was regarded by all to be an resounding success.

The value of this conference was reflected in feedback from attendees, the executive board, and volunteers alike. "As conference chair to the Dscoop EMEA inaugural event, I leave with an immense sense of pride and joy. Having planned this conference for the last 18 months we had questions," said Jon Tolley, Dscoop EMEA conference chair. "Since the very first discussions we have asked ourselves if this could be done in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Can we really share? What is a great location for the party? Does the content match our expectations and standards? Have we thought of all finishing touches? Having seen all this unfold right before my eyes has been nothing short of amazing."

During the conference, attendees were introduced to new customizable marketing tools and newsletters, which are set to be released next month to assist in education their customers. Dscoop members will be able to utilize these presentation tools to aid in the delivering of messages on the power of digital print, 1-1 personalization and VDP via professionally produced, multi-media formats.

Another anticipated tool is the launch of the ' Dscoop Digital Print Locator', which will feature two content paths. One will be aimed at printers to foster local and global partnerships across its 7,000-strong membership in 70 countries.

There will also be a client facing path that showcases members' to generate sales and promote their businesses to the marketing and design community. "The real power of the Locator is that now members are part of something bigger- a large and robust global network which is something that has proven to be successful by this conference ," said Eric Hawkinson, Dscoop executive director.
