Kern, a world leader in high performance mailing solutions, is to demonstrate a number of innovative new modules of its K90 Card System at this year's Cartes on stand C061 Hall 3
 
The K90 drew large crowds when it was demonstrated for the first time at the Cartes exhibition, the world leading event for digital security and smart technologies. Since then, Kern has received much interest in the K90, and has recently made the first sale in the UK  to one of the UK's largest mailing houses, for use to create membership card mailings. .
 
Ideal for credit cards, loyalty and gift cards or SIM cards for mobile phones, the K90 RoboCard features the latest robot technology which provides opportunities for far greater creativity in card mailings than ever before. The pick and place robot is able to place up to eight cards on a single document and can position cards in any position and at any angle.
 
Clive Martin, Kern's UK Strategic Business Manager, said: "The K90 is an extremely user friendly machine that can be used for a wide range of applications and is particularly suitable for the retail, telecoms and finance sectors. The new modules that are now available will enable users to create even more personalised and creative card mailings."
 
Being modular, the Kern 90 interfaces seamlessly with existing Kern mailing systems such as the 2500 and 2600, enabling completed mailers to be neatly inserted into envelopes, which could also be personalised with black or colour print before being posted.
