Ernesto Salviat E. Named GALA 2013 Young Entrepreneur Recipient

Salviat E. will be honored alongside GALA 2013 Award winners Frank Romano and Gustavo Adolfo Morales Velilla

Orlando, FL - The Printing Association of Florida, producers of the Graphics of the Americas Expo and Conference (GOA), is pleased to announce that Ernesto Salviat E., Salviat Impresores, Santiago de Chile, has been named the 2013 Graphic Arts Leaders of the Americas (GALA) Young Entrepreneur recipient. Salviat E. will join Frank Romano and Gustavo Adolfo Morales Velilla in being honored at the GALA festivities in Orlando on February 21, 2013, at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort.
 
Established in 2009, the Young Entrepreneur Award recognizes a particularly exceptional individual in the next generation of Latin America's business leaders who has made significant efforts to further the graphic communications industry. The award recognizes the efforts of a young professional who sets an example for his or her peers, as well as addresses and manages the marketing and technology challenges in today's competitive marketplace.
 
The GALA awards banquet coincides with the Graphics of the Americas Conference & Exposition in Orlando, FL, on February 21-23, 2013 at the Orange County Convention Center.

About Ernesto Salviat E., Salviat Impresores, Santiago de Chile
Salviat E. began his career in the graphic arts industry at Impresora Editora Ograma, where his primary focus there was on digital prepress and binding. He also managed the development of a computer system tailored to the quoting, planning and process control requirements of the company. In 1999, he led a feasibility study for purchasing a CTP system, the first for the company and among the first in Chile.
 
In 2001, Salviat E. assumed management of Egraf S.A., a company founded together with his father, which specialized in finishing applications for a wide range of automated and artisanal services for high quality bookbinding. The bindery service was integrated into Salviat Impresores S.A. in 2003, where Salviat is currently the manager of operations and is a major shareholder.
