Press release from the issuing company
ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. - Time and again, the Screen Truepress Jet2500UV board and roll inkjet printing system delivers unique solutions for marketers that want their brands to really stand out in public. Visitors to the Screen USA exhibition area at SGIA Expo 2012 saw the ultimate in brand differentiation in the form of 21-layer output, Braille formats for ADA graphics, see-through graphics and more.
Print service providers laud the Truepress Jet2500UV for detailed, vibrant and extremely durable reproduction of point-of-purchase materials, banners, trade show graphics and many types of indoor and outdoor signage. Screen USA packed its SGIA Expo booth with creative samples demonstrating the 98.4-inch-wide printer's application versatility using the widest possible range of substrates. Stunning display graphics, impressive value-added special effects and three-dimensional materials were printed live on window film, Sintra, acrylic and other flexible and rigid media.
High-impact print applications open up lucrative market opportunities. The multi-layer printing technology that is the most-talked-about feature of the Truepress Jet2500UV gives designers and marketers the means to make brand collateral pop.
The Truepress Jet2500UV prints up to seven image layers, including images in opaque white ink, at the same time without feeding the media a second time through the machine. It is possible to overprint images multiple times in one pass with highly accurate registration. Multiple ink layers improve the performance of double-sided window stickers and enhance the day-and-night effect of backlit displays.
The increased ink thickness from multiple layers also produces three-dimensional images and embossed patterns on flexible and rigid materials. The ability to print up to seven individual layers raises certain elements of a logo, brand or image. Building up to 1.5 mm thickness in any area of a design creates a unique, eye-catching piece that draws attention wherever placed.
In addition, through a collaborative agreement between Screen and Contra Vision, Ltd., the Truepress Jet2500UV automatically generates see-through graphics. The Truepress Jet2500UV achieves high-quality see-through effects on standard transparent media without having to print on perforated window film. See-through graphics retain one-way transparency for use as an advertising medium on the exterior windows of retail shops and glass surfaces of public transportation.
For a complete print-to-cut solution, the Zünd G3 L-3200 digital cutter complemented the Screen digital print solutions at SGIA Expo 2012, so attendees could learn how to integrate complex, high-speed cutting, routing and creasing/scoring into their production workflows.
