Lloyds Banking Group launched the project in early 2011 with a series of "Xplor certified EDA Schools" customised and developed by Acadami Group.
To date over 70 Lloyds Banking Group management and staff have qualified for their Xplor Electronic Document Associate (EDA) level within the Xplor EDP program via Acadami's school. The core curriculum within the EDA School has been certified by Xplor International for Continuing Education Units, and meets the necessary education requirements for the Xplor EDA level.
Roberta McKee-Jackson edp, vice-chair of the Xplor EDP Commission and an Acadami instructor for the Lloyds programme, will be explaining the new Xplor EDP program and how it has been made more relevant to employers as an industry certification.
Neil Merchant edp, Acadami instructor for the Lloyds programme, will give more detail on the core curriculum of the "Xplor EDA School", and how it was enhanced to fit Lloyds' environment, as well as complementary offerings to the school.
There will a panel discussion on the topic of training the next generation within the industry. It will be led by James Shand edp (Managing Director, TriPartum Limited) and includes Wouter van Ee eda (Head of Print & Mail Services, Lloyds Banking Group), Sharon Hopkins (Managing Director, Kings Recruitment Consultants), Paul Jenkins (Career Change Specialist & Coach, The Paul Jenkins Co.), and Neil Merchant edp (Consultant, Greymatter Consulting).
The event will take place at The British Library Conference Centre, 96 Euston Road, London, NW1 2DB, United Kingdom on 23 October from 14:00 hrs until 21:00 hrs. The meeting will include a working dinner.
