Press release from the issuing company
Bell and Howell, a leading provider of solutions and services for paper-based and digital messaging, and Lasermax Roll Systems, a leader in automated paper handling, monitoring and processing equipment for the digital printing industry, today announced that Bell and Howell will serve as a North American distributor of the WebVision digital print quality assurance system. Integrated with high-speed digital printers, WebVision systems provide 100-percent quality control at full production speed.
"This agreement demonstrates broad collaboration between our companies to provide solutions that function across print and finishing operations, and drive superior value for our customers," said Les Stern, Chief Executive Officer of Bell and Howell. "Our partnership supports a commitment to provide best-in-class solutions that deliver impactful communications and operational excellence. The WebVision system is based on Bell and Howell's JETVision technology, which is one of the most widely-deployed inspection systems in the industry."
"The continued union with Bell and Howell fortifies our delivery of production print-scale image inspection solutions in that Bell and Howell has proven to be the preeminent source of software development and skill in this arena," said Jeff Kewin, President of Lasermax Roll Systems - Americas. "We couldn't ask for a more able partner to help us fulfill the needs of our WebVision customers."
WebVision is used on color or monochrome digital printers to perform instant analysis to ensure quality print results. WebVision is a powerful quality platform that complements today's high-speed digital presses, and also connects these process areas into larger enterprise workflow solutions.
The WebVision system is being demonstrated at GRAPH EXPO in Chicago through Oct. 10 in the Bell and Howell booth 2610.
