Virtual Systems and Aleyant Systems Web-to-print Partnership

Press release from the issuing company

New storefront and print MIS interface to be showcased at Graph Expo 2012

Virtual Systems Corp., a leading-edge developer of cloud-based business management and e-commerce solutions for the printing industry, is set to unveil the 2.0 release of its next-generation Print MIS platform named Midnight at Graph Expo 2012 in October. The new version of Midnight features an all-new web ordering module called Midnight Storefront, powered by Aleyant Systems.

The new Midnight Storefront offers both B2B and B2C capabilities, plus a rich document design engine which works on both desktops and tablet computers. All elements of the storefront, including the design engine, are completely cloud based. This means you can launch the storefront instantly, access the system from anywhere, and there are no expensive servers to be purchased and maintained.

"We spent more than a year looking for the right web-to-print technology partner," said Chris Huber, president of Virtual Systems Corp. He continued "After several discussions with Aleyant's president, Greg Salzman, and exploring their software it was clear that we have a lot in common, the least of which is our investments in similar technology.

"The thing I value the most about the partnership with Aleyant Systems is their willingness to invest in their partners and I love their 'take-the-hill' attitude. I'm confident that Virtual Systems' customers will appreciate the work we have put into the new storefront because it will allow them to 'productize' and monetize their service offerings in new ways."

Said Salzman, "In addition to creating new opportunities to win business, integrated web storefronts also can reduce internal costs at the same time by eliminating data entry points and putting the customer in control. So clearly the best is yet to come. I think companies will be impressed with the ease of use and sophistication of the Midnight Storefront and will quickly see how they can increase their productivity and profitability."
