Press release from the issuing company
axaio software, developer of automation solutions for PDF creation, printing output and content correction workflows for the publishing and printing markets, announces the availability of MadeToTag beta 4. This latest version is an update of the Adobe InDesign plug-in for easy and fast preparation of InDesign documents to tagged PDF files, ensuring optimal accessibility.
MadeToTag beta 5 features a new UI, which allows step-by-step guidance through tasks for creating accessible PDF files. This new concept offers a better overview of the necessary tasks and provides a higher level of control.
Users can find out themselves how MadeToTag has been enhanced to ensure optimal accessibility by downloading the plug-in for easy and fast preparation of InDesign documents to tagged PDF files: http://madetotag.axaio.com/downloads/
Tagged PDFs are essential for accessibility, so that screen reader devices for visually impaired people or reading software for users with learning disabilities can provide rich access to a PDF's content. In addition, tagged PDFs enable substantially better indexing by search engines and more reliable text extraction or conversion to other formats.
Users can actively participate in the realization of the final product by subscribing to the beta program. Everyone has the chance to bring in comments, ideas and solutions for improvement through discussions at the MadeToTag forum.
The MadeToTag beta 4 version is available in English only and can be downloaded free of charge on the axaio software website.
The MadeToTag public beta 4 version requires Adobe InDesign CS5.5 or CS6 and is available for Mac (10.5/10.6/10.7) and Windows (Vista and Windows 7).
