Press release from the issuing company

March 4, 2004 -- Baldwin Technology Company, Inc. - a manufacturer of press accessory and controls for the commercial and newspaper printing industries - has started its third quarter and 2004 with significant global orders for its award winning LithoSpray spray dampening and Impact cleaning systems. American printing company, Penn Litho, California, has purchased Impact automatic blanket cleaning systems for the company's four Heidelberg/Harris M-110 and M-100 web presses. Spanish printer, El Correo, has also invested in Baldwin cleaning technology, ordering an Impact system for its KBA Comet web press, and a second Spanish printer, Artes Graphicas de Dalmau, has ordered a LithoSpray World spray dampening system for its KBA C213 press. In addition, Baldwin has started the year well in the southern hemisphere with further orders from News Limited – the major Australian newspaper group. News Limited has ordered an additional 32 Impact blanket cleaners for the company's Queensland operation. Shaun Kilfoyle, vice president of marketing and strategic planning comments: "Our fast start in 2004 is a positive sign and supports our contention that printing companies will invest in technology that improves the productivity and environmental efficiency of their installed base of printing presses. It is also a testimony to the strong ongoing relationships our global sales and service teams have with our customers. We remain optimistic that our early success will be sustained through drupa and for the remainder of the year."
