OKI Data Americas announces plans to broaden the distribution of its innovative proColor Series of commercial grade digital color printers within South America. Initially debuted in Santiago, Chile at the recent Business Digital Tradeshow and Conference by Datanet – OKI's distribution partner in the region, the OKI proColor Series has generated immediate sales and a number of new opportunities. Building on this success, OKI Data will continue to expand distribution of the proColor Series throughout South America over the next 90 days – specifically within Colombia and Argentina.

Select OKI proColor devices were demonstrated by Datanet within their tradeshow booth where attendees expressed a great interest in the pro900DP Digital Envelope Press and pro510DW Digital Web Press. OKI Data was the only booth at Business Digital to feature this unique type of digital printing technology, providing an exceptional opportunity for Datanet to showcase OKI Data's innovative printing capabilities before an international audience.

Tod Ratcliffe, Director of Graphic Arts and Production at OKI Data Americas, also delivered a keynote presentation at the conference entitled, "Changes in Label Printing in the Digital Era," which focused on the benefits of a digital printing environment and how customers can adapt to these changes at a reasonable price without sacrificing quality.
