GRAPH EXPO Rolls Out New Show Floor Features

Press release from the issuing company

New Pavilions, Sections and Offerings Reflect the Ever-Changing Face of the Graphic Communications Industry-Print, Online and Mobile

Attendees at GRAPH EXPO 2012, slated for October 7-10 in Chicago's McCormick Place, will find several new and exciting features on the show floor that demonstrate this year's "Print Integrated" theme.

The inaugural InPlant Place (Booth 3461) will provide in-plant professionals from education, corporate, and government printing operations with their own dedicated, multi-functional "oasis" on the show floor.  Sponsored by the In-Plant Printing & Mailing Association (IPMA), the new networking hub will offer attendees a wide selection of in-plant-specific education, networking, and relaxation opportunities.  The InPlant Place is part of the expanded GRAPH EXPO 2012 emphasis on in-house and corporate printing professionals by the Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC).  Additional in-plant attendee focused activities and events during the show are also powered by: ACUP, XPLOR, IPMA, ING, In-Plant Graphics, and the Print Media Centr.

Also new for 2012 is the PODi Cross-Media Application Gallery (Booth 1269) which will offer a wide array of "Best-of-Results" case studies based on whitepapers of winning print-integrated cross-media applications.  These examples of the best print-integrated campaigns will provide attendees with what they need to create effective and profitable cross-media campaigns for their customers.  Attendees will walk away with "roadmaps" on how to use these award-winning campaigns for their clients.

Another new feature at this year's GRAPH EXPO is "The Printerverse" by the Print Media Centr (Booth 4500), a multi-media "hot spot" where attendees can experience and "test drive" some of the ground-breaking communications tools that are moving the graphic communications industry in new and exciting directions.  This interactive networking/education haven will offer attendees the opportunity to engage in live, real time applications, networking activities, and face-to-face Q&A sessions with top industry experts.  Show goers are invited to visit here throughout the show to play a few rounds of Guitar Hero, experience Intelligent Print Recognition (iPR) and Augmented Reality first hand, watch a Pecha Kucha, celebrate the launch of National Girls Who Print Day, or be part of history as Print Media Centr creates the World's First Interactive Message Board.  For a complete schedule of speakers, panels and exclusive "Printerverse" events visit: www.graphexpo12.printmediacentr.com.

In recognition of the ever growing importance of the package printing segment of the graphic communications industry, GRAPH EXPO will, for the first time, offer The CPP Zone as another special area within the exposition.  This unique new converting area on the show floor is specifically designed to showcase the growth of package printing exhibitors, technologies, and offerings.

Finally, 2012 will mark the debut of the Global Channel Partners Summit (Booth 4461).  The free summit is sponsored by Dealer Communicator, PrintMedia Partners, and GASC and was created in recognition of the changing customer demands, new technologies, the impact of e-commerce, and the uncertain global economy which have forever altered the dynamics of today's industry channel.  Beyond providing current industry trends and information for all channel partners - Dealers, Manufacturers and End-User Customers - the Summit will serve as a networking hub for channel partners to meet with peers from around the world.  It will also be where dealers will convene with manufacturers and customers to explore new business opportunities.

These innovative new show floor features join familiar favorites: The Marketing Pavilion, Mailing & Fulfillment Center, GREENspace, News Print, Future Print, Prepress/Software: Workflow & Design; Press/Finishing/PackPrint/Photo Imaging; G7 Idealliance workshops; and, Education Main Street.
