Xplor International, the worldwide electronic document systems association, today announced that HP has launched an Xplor International Electronic Document Professional (EDP) certification program to designate qualified employees with industry expertise in electronic document systems. HP is a leader in the electronic document industry with its HP Exstream multichannel customer communication management (CCM) software solution.

Turning electronic documents into effective communications is the work of professionals. The EDP program, launched by Xplor International more than 20 years ago, is an industry designation awarded toqualified individuals who have demonstrated broad knowledge of, and experience in digital communication, whether in print, over internal networks or online-from document creation to distribution.

As part of the program, HP is fully funding EDP certification for employees within its Printing and Personal Systems group. HP is the first major vendor in the document industry to launch such an effort.
