Toplink Envelopes Invests in an Intec HPP550 PRO

Press release from the issuing company

Demand for full colour envelope printing pushed Toplink Envelopes to invest in an Intec HPP550 PRO envelope printing system.

Prior to this installation the Bristol business was only able to print two colour envelopes on its three high speed Diamond litho envelope presses.

Owner Kit Kettell explained that the growing company specialises in printing envelopes on demand as well as inkjet, laser printing and envelope inserting. He said that the HPP550 PRO will enable the company “to produce low volume full colour envelope print for our customers”.

He added: “Year on year, we have enjoyed a steady growth in the envelope print and mailing industry, offering a one stop service for all aspects of envelope supply, print and mailing requirements. This is why we were drawn to the Intec HPP550 PRO envelope printing system.”

Peter Swann, UK and Ireland Channel Manager at Intec Printing Solutions Limited, added: “Toplink has opted for the HPP550 PRO, which comes with the Intec PRO RIP software and the Easybook application Full colour envelope printing for easy set-up of pages, step and repeat, cut stacks, booklets and calendars. This enables Toplink to use the HPP550 as a dedicated envelope printer as well as offering the flexibility to print other promotional literature for their customers which they have previously had to turn away. The Rip station and Pro Rip software allows for jobs to be stored on the system making life so much easier when repeat printing is required.”

Over the past two years Toplink has made substantial investment in new envelope printing and envelope inserting machinery, which includes three Diamond two colour high speed envelope systems and two A B Dick short run envelope presses.

Toplink can also provide automatic self-adhesive labelling, off line folding, guillotining and data preparation.

The company, which has appointed Mark Copus as Company Director, has over 400 loyal customers, including supermarket chain Tesco.

Toplink was established in 1992 and employs eight staff.
