Press release from the issuing company
Objectif Lune, leader in providing open software solutions for variable data printing, mail preparation, document composition and workflow automation today announces it has joined forces with Intec Printing Solutions, a digital printer manufacturer with a worldwide presence.
Objectif Lune has been providing businesses with innovative solutions to compose, process, deliver, track and store any business document, independent of hardware compatibility and with full automation capability for more than 20 years. In July of last year, Objectif Lune announced the acquisition of the global operations of PrintSoft which positions the company as the sole provider of comprehensive software solutions for document lifecycle management, from entry-level to enterprise-wide applications. It also strengthens Objectif Lune’s global presence enabling the company to offer a wide range of solutions supported by customized and localized services in all regions worldwide.
Objectif Lune’s solutions are commercialized through a vast reseller network, comprised mostly of major printer manufacturers. So when the opportunity arose to partner with another global player, it seemed like the perfect match.
Headquartered in Poole, United Kingdom, Intec Printing Solutions manufactures colour digital printers for multimedia and heavy stock printing. The company has been supplying the professional print and pre-press market for over twenty years in over 60 countries. Intec products are distributed through a network of over 70 partners.
Both companies have just concluded an international distribution agreement for PrintShop Mail Suite, Objectif Lune’s flagship product for promotional variable data printing (VDP). This agreement will allow Intec partners to offer VDP capabilities to their customers. Specializing in providing substrates from light stock to heavy card applications, the Intec products are ideal for printing business cards, postcards and envelopes amongst other applications. With PrintShop Mail’s core focus being on variable promotional print with strong capabilities in personalization, n-up and high speed optimized printing, it is the perfect combination.
“As software providers, partnering with key industry players and expanding our market reach is essential for sustained growth” says Colin Casey, Director of Business Development for Objectif Lune EMEA. “With a worldwide presence and a strong distribution network, we are confident our association with Intec will help us in further promoting the value and necessity for organizations to integrate personalization in their core strategy and business processes.”
“This is a very exciting agreement,” says Ian Melville, founder and MD of Intec Printing Solutions Limited. “On their own, our printers are hugely capable but when used in conjunction with PrintShop Mail Suite, their full potential can be truly realised. Variable data printing allows for the personalisation of promotional documents such as advertisements, direct mail pieces and flyers based on a recipient’s profile and shopping history. For example, a retail company could create a marketing campaign to target specific segments of its database with personalised offerings such as a heavy stock postcard, printed in single print process, with targeted messages personalised for each recipient.”
To celebrate the launch of this agreement, both companies are offering Intec customers with a special PrintShop Mail promotional package consisting of a limited credits set and one month access to Objectif Lune’s technical support team and online training portal. To benefit from the offer, customers can contact their Intec dealer directly.
