Press release from the issuing company
This year’s 10th International Newspaper Color Quality Club 2012-2014 shows once again: newspaper presses from manroland web systems provide the basis for optimal quality. Every third of the 81 publishing houses newly admitted to the IFRA Color Quality Club is printing on presses from manroland web systems.
Prize winners from all over the world
Next to the strongly represented German and European printing houses, manroland web systems is particularly pleased to congratulate manroland customers from South and Central America, Arabia, India, and Southeast Asia to the coveted award.
Awards for all products
The manroland press series used by the award winners range from the 4-page single-width CROMOMAN and the 8-page UNISET to the double-width 8-page press series REGIOMAN and the double-width 16-page double-circumference presses GEOMAN and COLORMAN, thus covering manroland’s entire performance spectrum. The prize winners worked with highly-automated autoprint presses as well as with printing systems featuring a lower automation degree. It is very impressive that older installations also reliably met the demanded quality criteria.
Reward for intensive efforts
For the participating companies, applying for the International Newspaper Color Quality Club means an intensive examination of their products’ printing quality. Only those who successfully pass the IFRA test prints several times during a period of three months are nominated members for two years by an expert jury, after evaluating the quality of the standard product. To readers and advertising customers this reward proves the publishing house’s quality awareness.
