Press release from the issuing company
Avanti Computer Systems Limited, a leading provider of Print MIS and Web-to-Print solutions, today announced strong customer growth in the first half of its 2012 fiscal year. In-plant and commercial print organizations of all sizes, are investing beyond just Print MIS to technologies that will provide workflow integration and digital print automation.
Print providers are realizing the importance of diversifying their business and adding variable data printing, mailing, fulfillment, cross-media and other new marketing services to increase sales and generate new revenue streams.
Avanti is pleased to welcome Harbor Printing, 121 Interactive/Gulf Printing, Kappa Graphics, City of Toronto and Print Three Centre # 59 to name some of its new customers that joined its growing roster this year. The company also announced Securian Financial Group in St Paul, Minnesota and UNLV in Las Vegas Nevada recently went live with Avanti.
“Avanti really helps me see where we stand financially at a click of a mouse,” says Josh Rankin, Senior Director of Design and Print Communications at UNLV. “I can see how much jobs are costing me as well as have instant access to monthly chargeback information so that I know if we’ve covered those costs,” adds Josh.
In addition, many of Avanti’s current customers running the core production system are further streamlining their workflow by adding integration components to their existing infrastructure. IHS in Englewood, Colorado and Highmark Inc. in Pittsburgh PA, have recently extended their automation capabilities by integrating Xerox’s FreeFlow™ product suite with Avanti’s MIS. They are also deploying Direct Mail Management, CRM, Triggers and Alerts to better monitor customer behavior and eDashboards to provide enhanced business and operational insight.
“Avanti is well positioned to provide print owners with the tools necessary to automate and integrate their business systems, enabling them to refocus their energy on sales strategy and service diversification,” says Patrick Bolan, President and CEO of Avanti. “With Avanti MIS, all aspects of the print shop can be easily managed by one system. This gives print owners the confidence to focus on growing their business instead of being involved in day-to-day administration.”
Avanti will be showcasing its digital print workflow automation capabilities at DRUPA in both the Xerox Booth (Hall # 8b) and HP Booth (Hall # 4) from May 3-16th.
Upon returning from DRUPA, Avanti’s annual user group conference will take place May 30 – June 1, at Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, California. This year’s agenda includes tracks dedicated to print owners and executives as well as to shop managers and Avanti administrators.
